Unfinished solid brass neck and spindle measuring 7/8 inch by 1-1/4 inch with a 1/8 IP slip fit, giving lamp builders a raw-brass component to plate, lacquer, or patina to match the rest of a fixture. The slip fit lets the piece pass over a 1/8 IP threaded rod rather than threading onto it.
