Product Description

A black phenolic ring that threads onto candelabra and threaded sockets, locking shades, finials, or candle covers in place. Phenolic resists heat from incandescent bulbs and gives a clean black trim ring against brass or nickel hardware.

Used by lamp shops and fixture builders as a finishing component on candelabra-base sockets — both for shade retention and to cover the threaded shell where it meets the cup.
