Product Description
The RAB A22 area light pairs Type IV forward-throw output with an integrated microwave motion and vision sensor (MVS) for automatic control on pole-mounted commercial exteriors. A three-position wattage switch on the fixture selects 100W, 80W, or 60W, and a second switch picks 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K color output. The MVS sensor detects motion out to 50 feet across when mounted at a 50-foot height, driving the fixture to full brightness on trigger and holding it at a low standby dim between events.
The die-cast aluminum housing carries a white powder-coat finish rated for outdoor durability, and the polycarbonate lens sits behind an IP66 seal against dust and driving rain. Motion sensitivity, hold time, standby dim level, standby time, and daylight threshold are all adjustable through the MSR1 handheld remote (sold separately). Standard 480V operation, 0-10V dimming down to 10 percent, and a 6 kV surge protector complete the fixture.
