The Halco ProLume 18-watt double-tube plug-in CFL is a commercial-grade compact fluorescent built for recessed downlights, wall sconces, and task fixtures wired for magnetic ballast operation. The G24D-2 2-pin base seats into the magnetic-ballast sockets found in older commercial CFL fixtures, and the twin-tube T4 layout keeps overall length short enough to clear standard downlight cans and sconce housings.

At 3500K the light reads as neutral white, and a tri-phosphor coating holds color rendering steady across the 10,000-hour rated life. Because this is a 2-pin lamp, it will only start in a fixture wired with a magnetic ballast — confirm ballast type before ordering. The lamp dims on a compatible dimming magnetic ballast for stepped control.
