Product Description

A 400-watt Covershield metal halide lamp built for spaces where a broken bulb would be a real problem — food service, warehouses, kitchens, and any facility with exposed product or open work below the fixture. A high-temperature PFA safety coating on the outer glass holds shards, mercury, and phosphors in place if the lamp ruptures, which keeps cleanup contained and cuts contamination risk.

The 4000K output measures 36,000 lumens through an ED37 clear clear glass on a Mogul (E39) base. Rated average life is 20,000 hours, and output is stable across ambient temperature swings for indoor and outdoor use.
