Product Description

This 1000-watt standard metal halide lamp delivers 108,000 lumens of 4000K white light for commercial and outdoor sites where high output and long life are the priority. The BT56 tubular bulb runs from a mogul base and holds a 15,000-hour average rated life, well ahead of typical high-pressure sodium and mercury vapor sources at the same wattage.

Standard metal halide technology produces cleaner, more accurate white light than the HPS and mercury vapor sources it commonly replaces, and the universal operating position lets the same lamp go into fixtures oriented base up, base down, or horizontal — a practical advantage for warehouses and sites carrying a mix of fixture types.
