A 24-hour battery backup carries the clock through power outages without losing sync.

The built-in range extender pushes signal reach to roughly 900 feet, and a cord with NEMA 5-15P plug ships in the box, so the unit plugs into a standard outlet inside its surface-mount enclosure.
