Product Description

The Halco ProLED T8 linear tube is a Type B ballast-bypass LED that replaces a 36-inch fluorescent T8 in shop lights, strip fixtures, and enclosed troffers. It puts out 1450 lumens using 12 watts, and single- or double-ended wiring lets one lamp cover fixtures whether the electrician runs power to one end or splits it across both.

Bypassing the ballast eliminates a common failure point and cuts the parasitic draw fluorescent ballasts add on top of lamp wattage. A built-in thermal cutoff shuts the lamp down if it is mistakenly installed on a live ballast, protecting the lamp and the wiring.

Features

  • 36-inch T8 with medium bi-pin (G13) base
  • 1450 lumens at 12 watts, 5000K
  • Type B ballast-bypass — wired to line voltage
  • Single- or double-ended power input
  • Thermal cutoff protects lamp if left on a live ballast
  • 83 CRI, 110-277V
  • 50,000 hour rated life

Ideal For: Shop Lights • Strip Fixtures • Enclosed Troffers • Utility Rooms • Workshops

UL Listed. Rated for enclosed fixtures. Ballast bypass required — rewire the fixture to line voltage before installing.
