The Halco 48-inch ProLED Hybrid T8 LED Tube (48T8-12-8CS-HYB-D-LED2) is the workhorse of Halco's Gen-2 ProLED tube line, replacing the most common fluorescent T8 length used in commercial troffers, strip fixtures, and shop lights. CCT selectability and Hybrid Type A/B operation make it a single SKU that fits across mixed-ballast environments and supports future ballast-bypass conversion.
Hybrid Type A/B means the tube runs on most existing T8 fluorescent ballasts (Type A, plug-and-play) or can be wired directly to line voltage after a ballast bypass (Type B). Setting CCT with the onboard switch covers everything from warm 3000K to daylight 6500K, eliminating the need to stock multiple color-temp variants for office, retail, healthcare, and education retrofits. 0–10V dimming is supported in Type B mode with the matching LDM-T8195 driver.
