This 300W LED area light delivers 38,988 lumens of 5000K crisp daylight-white output through a Type III distribution pattern—forward-throw with moderate side spread, well suited to pole-mounted perimeter lighting along roadways, parking-lot edges, and property boundaries where the fixture sits at the edge of the area being lit. As a one-for-one replacement for a 750W metal halide or HPS fixture, it cuts energy draw substantially while extending service life to 50,000 hours, making it a strong fit for parking lots, roadways, campuses, warehouses, fuel canopies, and other large-scale outdoor sites that need bright, reliable light around the clock.
The housing is built from die-cast aluminum with a durable bronze finish that stands up to weather, corrosion, and UV exposure year after year. An IP65 wet-location rating seals the optics and driver compartment against dust and driven rain, while a -40F to +113F (-40C to +45C) operating range keeps performance steady from deep cold to high summer heat. A built-in 4kV surge-protection device shields the driver against utility transients, and 0-10V Dimming compatibility lets the fixture integrate with photocell, occupancy, and energy-management controls for adaptive lighting and additional energy savings.
