This plug-and-play replacement lamp operates off the existing instant or programmed start fixture ballast-no rewiring required. Designed as-seamless replacement for 40W CFL tubes the LED PLL lamp consumes 50 percent less energy and lasts twice as long as its fluorescent counterpart.
