For CFL downlights, wall sconces, and small-vertical fixtures wired with a GX23 2-pin socket, this 6-watt LED PL lamp delivers 600 lumens of 5000K natural daylight — replacing a 13-watt CFL PL with less than half the energy and a rated life five times as long.

Ballast bypass wiring means the fixture's existing CFL ballast gets removed and line voltage runs directly to the socket. Universal 120 to 277 volt operation covers residential and commercial fixtures, and built-in 0.5kV surge protection helps handle voltage spikes.
