This 6.5-watt PAR20 LED casts amber light at 597 nanometers, a wavelength that hatchling sea turtles do not see well and will not follow away from the shoreline. It screws into a standard medium E26 base and pulls just 6.5 watts, replacing a 25-watt incandescent PAR20 in coastal porch, path, and patio fixtures under sea-turtle lighting ordinances.

The 40-degree beam angle gives a controlled pool of light for walkways and entry areas without spilling glare across dune lines. A wet-location rating and cULus Listed safety mark cover outdoor use, and the lamp is rated for enclosed fixtures — useful in sealed coach and lantern housings where standard LEDs cook themselves out.
