Product Description

A Halco CoverShield metal halide lamp with a high-temperature PFA safety coating that contains glass shards, mercury, and phosphors inside the bulb in the event of rupture. This shatter-resistant construction helps offset the risk of contamination and eliminates cleanup expense — a purpose-built solution for food processing, retail, and industrial environments where open lamps are not acceptable.

This ED28 bulb runs at 250 watts, delivers 21,800 lumens at 4000K color temperature with 65 CRI, and fits mogul (E39) sockets in enclosed commercial and industrial fixtures. Rated for up to 10,000 hours of average life, and unaffected by ambient temperature for indoor or outdoor use.
