This 2x4 surface mount kit converts a Halco 2x4 volumetric LED panel from a lay-in troffer into a surface-mounted ceiling fixture, opening up the panel to rooms that lack a drop-ceiling grid — concrete slabs, drywall ceilings, or renovated spaces where cutting in for a lay-in is not an option. The aluminum frame matches the panel's clean edge and adds only minimal depth below the ceiling plane.
