Product Description

Halco's CoverShield linear T5 tube wraps the glass in a skin-tight co-polymer coating that holds glass shards, mercury, and phosphors inside the lamp if it ever ruptures. This 54-watt high-output version delivers 5,000 lumens of 4100K cool white light and meets NSF, CFIA, USDA, FDA, and OSHA requirements for facilities where a breakage event has to be contained.

The DuPont Nucrel coating will not yellow, crack, or flake, and the highest-rated PFA formulation holds up to heat as high as 600°F, so it stays intact in high-bay and strip-fixture applications where standard shatter sleeves would degrade.
